This is so amazing (the picture, I used to be close!), and the advice is so true…
But I also think that since starting over is so hard, it’s best just to not stop in the first place!

This is NOT how I look at Bikram.  Maybe someday it will be.  That place looks like it smells better (better than in Milwaukee…  The studio I go to in Madison smells fine!).

This past weekend was great…

It started out with Team Trivia at Karma (a bust, but look out next week!), a delicious drink at Distil with Cody, and off to bed.

On Friday, I had a shoot with Nicole Feltz and Diana Catherine (from tumblr!)…  Here are the first two edits…

and

Don’t worry, they have their own posts coming soon, too.  They deserve a post each on their own!

Then I raced down to Racine for lunch with my mom at Kewpee’s (which I love), and to hear a band called “Mean Jake” play.

I love Mean Jake…  They are an awesome band, AND, I get to play cowbell when I’m there!  Here’s a pic of that from Friday.

Then from there, I went to Bikram.  It was my third time there, but first time I’ve been there in months.  I’m super proud to say that I only laid down when I was supposed to & didn’t feel the need to take any breaks!  This is a huge step forward to me.  I think Bikram is finally growing on me!

After Bikram, I of course showered, and then went to see Tommy’s Pro-Am game (Pictures coming soon, hopefully).  We were both exhausted, so we went to bed relatively early.

Saturday morning, Tommy, his friend Maggie, and I moved Tommy’s stuff out of his old place and said goodbye to where he (and I, most of the time) lived the last year +.  Then we worked out, and went to Medieval Times for our friend Cody’s birthday.

Yesterday, Tommy had three games (and then won the Consolation Bracket Tournament) for the Pro-Am.  I am seriously sad that the Pro-Am is over, and am already looking forward to next year!

Afterward, we got Culver’s and then went to Yo Momma’s in Tosa for some delicious Frozen Yogurt, and then watched Liam Neeson (Tommy’s fave actor) in Unknown.  He was B.A. as usual, and I liked seeing Diane Kruger again (because I loved her in Inglorious Basterds).

Today, however, has been way less cool.  I was planning on finishing my modeling + website & editing my makeup artistry site, but there is something up with the server, so I have been wasting time like crazy.

Blah.

I need to get in gear!  Inspiration welcome (please)!

In all the years I’ve been modeling, no one has ever drawn me.  Tomorrow, that is about to change.  I am super excited that David, an artist in Chicago (the one who drew the image above), is having me pose for him tomorrow.  Of course, once I get my high-res copy, I’ll post it!
When we get back, we’re going to the Marquette game for National Marquette Day, then to dinner and out for Sam’s birthday (Rick Rude is spinning at 720).
Sunday’s all about recovery & Bikram (and I can honestly say I’m looking forward to Bikram)!
Looks like another great weekend is on the horizon!

This is Tommy and I about a half hour after Bikram yoga yesterday.
Holy balls, it was so hot.
I guess we’re going back tomorrow morning at 6am.
Yikes.

Bikram yoga, here we come!
Today when Tommy comes home from work, we’re going to go to Bikram yoga to try that instead of doing the P90X yoga this week.  Neither of us has tried it, but we’re both excited and nervous about it.  Yoga is hard enough on its own, so I can’t imagine doing it in a 105 degree room!  I know that if I feel too hot, I shouldn’t leave, but should lay down until I feel better, and I am sure that I should drink lots of water…  This should be interesting!

P.S.  Anyone else done it?  Any tips you’d like to share?
P.P.S.  Kill Bill vol. 1 is on.  This is perfect to get me ready!
