SUPER SATURDAY!!!

This past Saturday, I co-hosted Super Saturday in Chicago with my friend @KatieChoudhary, and it was amazing!

As always, there were success stories (of physical, financial, and personal transformations) that were absolutely amazing.  I also shared my success story…  Which was fun!  I forgot some important things that I was hoping to say, and said there was crack in Shakeology (NOT TRUE) in front of the Senior Vice President of Global Sales of Beachbody, but it was fun!

It was also amazing to see my team!  They are among the most positive people you will ever meet, and caring, kind, and fun to be around to boot!

Here is a picture of us in front of the “Dream Big” balloons!

My success partner and one of my leaders on my team (we’re the Honey Badgers) and I were on the same page mentally fashion-wise, so we thought we’d get on the floor senior picture-style and pose!

But, here we are with Jeff Hill (that’s that Senior Vice President of Global Sales I was talking about!).

And of course, I couldn’t NOT post a picture with the person responsible for my being a Beachbody coach, Katie!  She found me here on Tumblr and Twitter, and the rest is history!  Now there is not a day that goes by that we don’t text, talk, see each other, or HeyTell, and she’s like a sister to me!  Here we are with Jeff and the balloons!

I CAN’T WAIT for the next Beachbody event!  I know that I will be getting together with our team (or at least members of it) before, but the next event is Summit, and I CAN’T WAIT!  A few days in Vegas with the happiest people in the world?  YES, PLEASE!

If you want to be a part of this, let me know!  We’ll see if you’re Honey Badger material!

xoxo,

Mandie

I already tweeted this and shared it on facebook, but I think it’s so cool!

John Schneider (better known as Bo Duke!) is a P90X/P90X2/Insanity grad and Beachbody Coach!

If this doesn’t make you want to join this awesome team, I don’t know what to tell you (haha)!

But if it does, let me know!

Here are the results of my May Beachbody Aftershot Challenge!  The girls who completed it lost 19 total pounds, 21 total inches, and 14% total combined percentage of body weight!

If you can stand, there is a beachbody program for you, and the challenge is open to anyone in the U.S.  The deadline for the June group is fast approaching, but I plan to do this monthly, so let me know if you’re interested!

XOXO,

Mandie

In the past ten or so days, I have gotten the following few things that have really made me feel warm and fuzzy about being a beachbody coach:
“I lost ten pounds in the first two weeks of P90X and Shakeology.”“I am wearing pants I haven’t been able to fit in in two years, and they are loose now!”
“I am getting so many compliments on my hair, skin, and size since I have been drinking Shakeology.”
It feels so great to be helping people!  It was something that I felt like I was missing since I resigned as a teacher.  I can’t wait until I have a success story like the one above, with Brenda, who lost 120 pounds in ten and a half months thanks to her Beachbody coach!  What a blessing!  =)

I already posted this on facebook and twitter (insert plug to follow me on twitter here), but I have officially begun a new little part of my life, as a BeachBody Coach!
I wanted to post a longer explanation as to my motivation for it, and I thought that this picture was perfect!

When Tommy and I first got together, we were very fit - he’s a former college athlete, DPT, and his undergrad major was Exercise Science, and I am a lingerie model.  So of course, we had nice bodies.  AND, we also were single, so we had bodies that were looking to impress others.  You know, to find love!
Then we found each other, and got, as I like to call it, “fat and happy.”
After a while, this wouldn’t do, of course, so we did P90X together.  Well, we tried.  A few times.  And this was while I was teaching, so it was really hard to coordinate both of our schedules so we could work out together all the time.
More recently, we started again.  He finishes tomorrow.  I somewhat fell off the face of the earth when I started traveling extremely heavily!
However, the first five weeks went GREAT for me.  I lost ten pounds, which is significant for someone who is my size, especially considering that I didn’t change my diet all that much - just cut out fast food and cut down on some carbs, and some cheese.
So, I started telling everyone who would listen how awesome P90X is.  Basically, I was doing the “work” of a BeachBody Coach!  Finally, I’ve decided to make it official, and am forming my first challenge group!  We have two confirmed members, and are working on the other three - lots have expressed interest, and we’ll see what happens!
If you’re reading this and interested in my help, please let me know.  I want everyone to be as happy as I am!

P.S.  The reason I chose this picture is because I completely agree.  Once I got to a gym, I was fine, but getting started was the hardest part.  That’s one of the things I love most about BeachBody workouts - no gym required!  It still is hard, though, to get motivated - to put the computer down and start working out.  What do you do to get started?

(via neverquitting)

Saw Quidam (Cirque du Soleil) tonight with my mom.  It, of course, was amazing.

It also made my joy from getting crane pose for about five seconds during P90X yoga and doing toe stand at Bikram seem pretty insignificant.

Oh well.  I am still pretty proud of myself!

Visibly displeased to be up at 5 to do #P90X this morning, but “no pain, no gain” (or rather, loss!) and at least I’m wearing my Bruce Dickinson “More Cowbell” shirt!
